The short version

• The schedule builder works without an account. What you build stays in your browser unless you save it or share its link.
• When you save a calendar, it is stored so you, and the other parent once they join, can see it. Nobody else can.
• We don’t sell your data or use it for advertising.

What we keep

• Account: your email address and a hashed password.
• Your household: the names you give the two parents and the children, the schedule and its changes, swap requests and answers, expenses (with any receipt photos you upload), payments between you, messages, and the dated record of all of these.
• Billing: if you upgrade, Stripe handles the card. We keep the Stripe customer and subscription ids and the plan status, never card numbers.
• Usage: if analytics is switched on, Google Analytics receives page views and events (for example “schedule built”) with a pseudonymous id, not your email.

Share links

The builder’s Share button makes a link that contains the schedule and any names you typed, so anyone with the link can see them. Invite links let one person join your household once and expire after 30 days; you can cancel one at any time from the Invite page.

The other parent

Once both parents are in a household, both can see everything in it: the calendar, swaps, expenses and receipts, messages and the record. Messages and record entries cannot be edited or deleted by either parent; that is what makes the record useful.

Deleting your data

Settings, then Delete my account. If you are the only parent in the household, the household and everything in it is deleted. If the other parent has joined, your sign-in is deleted and you leave the household; the calendar and record up to that day stay with the other parent, because it is a shared record and theirs too.

Where it is stored

On servers in the European Union (Germany), run by our hosting provider Helm7. Payments go through Stripe.
